I have some crater plates, plus I have my now completed near 100 stud long
large space/military vehicle. (the front of which is on my web site, I have

Hi!
I have given QC a try and noticed that after shutting the RCX off and
restarting it, one does not go back to the QC application, but the ROM routines
are in control. I suppose some vectors have to be adjusted in order to not let
that happen?
thank you

Thanks for the tip.
Picked up the Sith at half price, a droid fighter.
They had some town and rock raiders too, but I wasnt interested.
Very annoying, as you comment, that none of this stuff was 'advertised' in any
way. You only found out if you punched in the numbers to their stock checker.
Not all sets were reduced, and many were out of stock.

Hi!
Could anyone please explain a little how the dynamic loading facility works in
legOS? I don't seem to get at full grip on it... and I can't test it either,
right now...
Is there a loader on the RCX?
Can apps be downloaded to the RCX whithout reloading the kernel too?
How about having several apps running simultaneously?
Are the apps tailored to a specific kernel build (by means of GENLDS)?
In other words, when downloading the kernel, does it wait then for an app, more
or less like the original firmare?
thanks
/Vlad

Il contrappeso è presente anche nel passaggio a livello 4539:

Gli assi filettati credo che siano solo lì (ma non sono sicuro).

Mike, Target blowouts are just unbelievable. I wish they would enter

What is so hard about getting these items? If I had $135 and I wanted a carribian
clipper then this place sounds better than ebay because there is no way you can be
outbid at the last minute. How come people from the US have not been asking
freinds in argentina and other similar places to get these sets for them:
us friend sends them the money to but it, argineinian buys it for them and then
mails it to the us. What else would someone in the us have to pay on top of the
$135 to get this (other than money paied to the person who is buying it for them,
for their troubles etc) How much would the postage be? Are there any hidden taxes
on top of the $135?
Also to the person who found these, out of interest, how much are the BSB's
selling for?

Ciao

As some of you may have noticed, I have had some problems making my 2951
behave.
Out of frustration I made some changes to the hi-res 1-8disc.dat, and lo and
behold, suddenly everything worked.
Now, the weird thing is that there was nothing wrong with 1-8disc. It was made
with type 4 lines, where the low-res version was made with type 3 lines, but
if you think about it, it makes perfect sence, you can do the 6 type 3 lines
with 3 type 4 lines.
Well, just out of desperation I substituted these 3 type 4 lines with 6 type 3
lines, and there it was, now everything looks quite nicely.
Here's the new 1-8disc.dat with the old lines commented out:

Can anyone please tell me why LDraw won't show the old version?
I even tried to make a "part" consisting of just one of theese, and it didn't
show up either?!?:)
Guess I'll mail the changes to Steve right away.

Hi
I apologize I have made some mistake in the previous message, this is the right
text :)
I have a 6991 monorail transport base to sell or trade. The set
is factory sealed, brand new, box substantially perfect.
6991 Monorail (1994), Min. 250$
I will sell the set to the best offer (over the minimum) I receive from now
to January 30th. This is NOT an auction, I won't post any update here. This
is a straight sale for the best offerer. Please keep in mind that your
offer
does not include shipping from Italy (where I live), which is to be payed
by
the buyer. I charge shipping at the bare cost, no surcharge or handling
fees. Due to size and weight estimated shipping cost to USA will range from
$20 uninsured surface to $50 for full insured fast airmail (UPS like)
If you live in the US, or in a country in which Larry has a
factoree preferred payment method is a check in USD to Larry
P. (http://my.voyager.net/lar/factor_desc.html), or a postal money order to
my address
Please email your offer to: arcmberti@dinet.it
I may also consider to trade it for a a 6285 MISB or a 6286 MISB
Thanks

That's the same way I felt, but then i liked them, and then I didn't, and now
I do! Get it? I'm kinda confused about it all. It's great to see someone
showing some concern for the throwbots around here. Sure they got the stupid
arm, but that can go, and then they're pretty cool! There's a picture of the
Millennia Throwbot, he's mostly grey, on a big red motorbike. It's pretty
crappy. And for $22, he's pretty expensive crap. As for information, the 3
others are:
Flare - a black and orange bat with an arm for a tail. IMHO he's the best of
them all. He uses the new technic panels (coloured orange) for wings.
Spark - A regular style throwbot in purple and black. He uses the technic
panel as some kind of hand/gun.
Blaster - he's hard to explain. First of all, he's got a price tag of $16, so
he's pretty big. He's yellow and black. On one arm, he's gottwo of the
throwing arms. His legs are assembled with 2 of the arm/leg pieces on each
leg. his feet are upsidedown throwbot heads. I don't think i'll be getting
this one.
Hope this helps! I might be able to scan some of these guys on Tuesday, and
email them to you. LMK if you need them.

Which is the best Lego castle set ever? I wonder if it is 6090 Royal Knight's

I manage to appreciate in on-line catalogs). Too bad that was my Dark Age....

Seems the different stores have totally different policies regarding Legos.
Sets begin at more or less similar prices in all stores, but as they become
older, some lower certain prices in order to get rid of the sets. But for some
reason or another pirate ships have never been put on sale in any of the
stores (El Mundo del Juguete, El Pais de las Maravillas, Apioverde). In any
case, whether on sale or not, prices are high. A friend of mine used to work
for Lego Argentina and he told me suggested retail prices were almost half of
what actual prices were :(
The pirate ships I mention (EL Pais de las Maravillas de Galerias Pacifico)
have remained untouched for more than 2 years! I've waited but they still are
at stupidly high prices.
Si, una lastima.... Donde vivis? Crei que era el unico Legofilo de Argentina!

I believe that this is the Serial Interface for Lego that is sold through
Dacta. It is expensive. I would be interested in one if there was a way to
run it off of a Windows CE device.

I'd like to congratulate you on your great designs, Shiri. I had just been
itching to get a 2000 black castle maiden hat for one of my witch's. And I
did exactly what you did with it -- I put it on a witch's torso and skirt,
although I guess you might have turned the torso printing towards the back
whereas I did not. And where you used a modified Jet head, I have used a
Paradisa open-mouth head (Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge -- Know what I mean?).
Great figure though...
And as far as your storyline goes, I'm all into it. I am very keen to see you

Craigo, brilliant as he is, got this particular idea concerning Jet's head
from me. And I think I have enough interest in lego customs to assert my
place in it (although I think children the world over have their own methods
of modifying lego and have already beat us all to it). See my "Sexy Witches"
and "Just the Heads" at:
http://members.aol.com/blueofnoon/lego/lego.htm
For more than a year now I have been doing minor modifying with a fine tipped
x-acto and even some minor drawing in with black and red Sharpies (the ultra
fine points). The first head in the "Just the Heads" pic on my site was drawn
with a sharpie with an obvious nod to the design of the dark forest boy head
(this head appears again in the pic "Scarecrow and Colonist"), and the last
head is a heavily modified Willa head. If you take a close look at Jet's
modified head, I did more than merely remove the mike -- I drew in the rest of
the lips at the corner. This is a necessary detail in my view, and I highly
recommend this addition to your own custom Jet head.
I was also carving bricks from the first (see my wings attachment at the page
noted above). And while initially shocked and repelled at the idea of carving
an element, Craigo has taken it to a new level with his skull cap and
hunchback figures. As a professional artist, He has also refined other aspects
of the craft by introducing the right tools to the subject: Marvy Uchida paint
pens, and Design Master spray paints. I might personally add that the tool kit
is incomplete without a Dremel power tool -- but this might be a matter of
opinion.
Giving credit where credit is due, and if memory serves: I guess its time to
clear up who created the lego pumpkin head! If you look at Craig's site:
http://community-1.webtv.net/anonymouseye/craigolego/
You will note that there is an award for the Willa the Witch pic. This emblem
contains a CAD lego pumpkin head that Craigo and I were both keen to make a
part of our lego worlds. My assumption is that it was designed by Matthew
Verdier, but I am not positive. So Craigo and I were talking about how to make
this pumpkin head and I think my came first as an inked and modified skull,
while Craigo did a better job with acrylics (I think?). Craigo used this very
pumpkin head in the picture with which he won the award mentioned above.
Anyway, whoever did the CAD pumpkin deserves the credit for designing the
pumkin head -- its simple and therefore brilliant! Without this crucial piece
I wouldn't have either my Mr. Pumpkin or my Headless Horseman minis...both all
too easy once you have the pumpkin element!
I think customizers generally agree that the best modifications are those
where the least modifying has occurred -- that is those that rely more on the
right combination of interchangeable elements than on reaching for blades or
paints to achieve the desired effect. That said, there is nothing at all
wrong in altering an element you can't stand or that just desperately needs it.
Lastly, customizers unite! We have to get Todd to give us a subcategory.

Hey, nice spidertank! Reminds me of the tank from Ghost in the Shell.
Are those the new joint/hinge pieces from the Star Wars sets?

The rubber ring grips the stud on the micro motor. You can then use it as a
pulley or to connect an axle to the micro motor. They appear to grip tightly
enough that they never slip within the torque range of the micromotor. Don't
worry about ruining the rubber ring -- you'll always get a new pulley with any
micromotor.
The right part for a limited-slip axle connection is the white clutch gear.

No new features - just a few fixes and tweaks:
* output files now default to current directory rather than next to
source
* fixed the __SCOUT bug
* fixed the RcxCC problem - two part solution: 1) trailing directory
delimiters are now optional on -I options, so a future version of RcxCC
can elimitate them entirely thus avoiding the escaping problem. 2) for
now I hacked my Win32 runtime library not to do any escaping on the
command line so that the current version of RcxCC can be used as-is.
The downloads (including a README with more detailed info) are at the
usual place...

I'm not sure if one can find many Legos outside of Buenos Aires here in
Argentina, at least old Legos like BSB. As these are expensive here, sometimes
you can find stores with old stuff they have been unable to sell. Last year I
bought Skulls Eye Schooner and Royal Knight's Castle, but each cost well above
$200 (1 Argentine $ = 1 US dollar). I also got all of the Islander sets and
Renegade Runner. But recently I have seen only some BSBs here and there, Fort
Legoredos, Red Beard Runners, Enchanted Islands, and other Royal Knights,
Exploriens and Wild West sets. Also, prices vary dramatically form one store
to another: Fort Legoredo costs $99 in some stores and $190 in others!
Regards to all!

This is Argentina we're talking about here--not only are they expen$ive as all
get out, most people don't have the money to buy them. However, I'm surprised
that you found them in Buenos Aires rather than in a smaller city, because I'd
expect that if they sold anywhere it would be in the capital.

Good page but:
1.it is a bit large, you should split it into several pages.
2.if you want to get it noticed and used for the pause database, posting the url
to lugnet.admin.database is a good idea.
3.you are missing several items, such as the shell promotional small motorbike
available from shell.
