Being that the NILTC is an 8-wide train club I would personally rather build 6
stud wide 24 plus stud long containers verses the LEGO company’s version of 4
studs wide 8 studs long. The 8-wide train version is more realistic and provides
more room for logos, details exc., but considering most of the clubs out there
are still 6 wide what are the dimensions of the containers you are proposing to
swap.

P.S. Phooey with Proper etiquette. I find it to be a pain in the a$$ to have to
scroll to the bottom of the page all of the time.

I will be heading up this year's LTC container swap.  If your club is
interested in participating, please reply with your club affiliation and
email address here.  Or drop me an email at rob@msltc.org with your
information.  If participating, please let me know by July 24th, 2003 so I
can make final adjustments and finish arrangements.

Once I get all participants tallied, I will send you an email to let you
know how many containers you will need to bring with you.  My first guess
would be around 20.  Please have containers fully assembled with your logos
attached firmly to both sides.  A BF logo will be provided for you to place
on the ends of your containers at the event.  This logo will be a color logo
on a white background.

For those of you that would like to participate in the swap, but will not at
BF this year, There are options.  The best option for you would be to send
said number of containers to me, and I will disperse them at BF for your
club.  You will also need to send monies for postage so I can send other
clubs' containers to you when I get back home from BF.  Send me an email to
get my physical address.  I'm sure there are other options.  If you would
like to discuss other options please do so here, or send me an email.

Friday August 8th at 11:00 AM at Brickfest, please bring your containers to
room 250.  Please come early so I may catch some of the Mindstorms
session!!!!  When I get everbody's containers, I will divide them up evenly
.  You may come by room 250 Saturday at 4:30 PM to pick your collection up.

Lar, if I have missed anything, feel free to interject.

See ya at the Fest!
Rob H
