Please don't read too much into this, I think this is getting blown waaay
out of proportion.

Personally, I don't think it's getting blown out of proportion.  I think it's
incredibly important.

I am pretty shocked to learn in such a sideways manner that LEGO Direct has
some kind of hand in the setup/organization of this group.  ANY kind of hand.
Why wasn't this fact made more up-front?

I'm a little disturbed that such a major fact was just kind of left out of all
of the organizational discussions.  Was that a decision made by your or Steve?
Or was it a request of LEGO Direct?

Either way, it's not exactly an encouraging start for a group intended to open
up communication.
