  Nominations for a trainset poll
 
Following the long and rambling thread on the doublestack car one thing that (URL) came up> (1) that inspired me was the idea of a 'famous trains' series. Purely for the sake of entertainment I'm looking for people to suggest ideas for hypothetical (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Since the designers at TLC have so much more time than we do, and since I managed to build an LMS Garratt (2-6-0+0-6-2), I'm sure they can do a Big-Boy, assuming the current trend of North America being the biggest trains market. Thanks for the info, I'm afraid it was a case engaging fingers before google! On the subject of the two main loco manufacturers whats the main design features that help differentiate them? I was looking at photos and although I can see that (...) (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.trains)
