Why a lot of effort? It saves Ben a lot of work, and all the buyers some
$$$.

While that MIGHT work for the US, it certainly won't for Europe. Hardly any
LTC's here, and most other clubs won't bother... not to mention those that
are not a member of a local/national club.

This gives a good idea of initial demand, and I don't suppose the train
nuts dedicated enough to be in an LTC would mind even paying a little more
than the regular price for initial exclusivity.

This sounds a bit absurd. So if you can't or won't join a club you get
"fined" ? Sounds hardly fair.

Sorry, but I much prefer Tim David's solution. It would at least for Europe
most likely work out a lot better.
