However note that most (all?) Australian crossings which are just crossings are
now automated - Bacchus Marsh also has a small interlocking which is the reason
they retain a signal box. Also Kooyong
http://www.signalbox.org/overseas/australia/kooyong.htm has one, but that is
because there's a tram line crossing there too, as is the case with Gardiner
(sorry no link).
