I think I know what you're talking about. Like the technic plates Shaun
Sullivan has on his German loco, right? I was not aware that was what the
rods were connected to.

Umm...fluting? All the side rods I know of are flat, with the lip on the
edge (like a wrench). Is there another kind, exclusive to euro prototypes,
perhaps?

Interesting. You're the second person to suggest that, so I was beginning
to wonder if perhaps there was another common color of driver.
