Happy  easter hollidays!

Now I've at last got time to finish the first version of an airplane wing.
It had an wingspan of 133cm and the weight was 460gram. And when I atached a
light body and tailplane it glided a bit, but it was a bit too heavy so I am
no on the second attempt.

Forgot to take picture of the airplane with body and the wing cladded with
plastic. But you got an good idea how the wing is by this picture :

there is no way that this will fly. I encourage you to give up... first off that wing is way too heavy. I fly an electric plane. here is the link. (URL) wing for this plane is made of foam with a graphite spine. its light as a feather. I don't even (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
  Re: Airplane wing

(...) The shape of the wing is really good! Perhaps if you could make the two wing halves attach at a slight degree giving a V-shape to the wing. Or at least make the tips turn up. I'm not sure why but most sailplanes have this configuration and (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
