Do they come in large pieces that I can cover the 180x30cm big wing? :)
The sails I've seen so far has a odd shape and is in thick plastic, still
too heavy I think. And I need many of them since they are a bit small...
But on the other hand, that is probably the closest I can get to "LEGO only"
parts to use.

Thats right, but that fabric was thin and light. Not like stiff plastic
sheets.
And we have to compare weight ratio too. Those real size planes could use
thick coating for the wings, but the small scale I'm building in needs much
lighter materials.
My second wing is also too heavy for a plane to fit a motor in.
I'm still working on a strong and light body to the plane...

| (...) Hi, I was thinking about these parts: (URL) are made out of fabric. I have three or four of those, they came in a Dacta set. I'll try to build a tiny glider and see if it flies as well as the paper airplane I build (that would be a trip of (...) (22 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
