  Clock Index

I've started to make an index for Lego clocks. Right now I just have pictures and links to all of the clocks I could find. Let me know if you have any additions. (URL) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Adjustable 4 wheel steering

(...) Watch out, it gets addictive - before you know it you'll be wandering past building sites thinking "a Lego model of that would be cool, how could I make the bit that does... ".   Re: Another Technic Creation

(...) Many, many years ago I managed to get a very light single propellor plane to trundle along at a snail's pace using the old 4.5V Technic motor. The blades on the propellor were made from 2x8 plates somehow fixed to the centre of the prop at (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8880 Super Car information

(...) I think it's the other way around: The new ones off the 8448 are more rigid than the old light grey ones. In stead, one may try the new shocks off the Silver Champion. They are even more rigid than the ones off 8448, or so they say. Fredrik (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

Four prop-plane engine (Was: Re: Another Technic Creation)

(...) So... You're the one :) I've seen the pictures while checking the "Recent" stuff on Brickshelf a few times and I must say I loved reading some text and explanations to the pictures :) Good work! (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Adjustable 4 wheel steering

  Re: Another Technic Creation

(...) I'm not sure if I understand the meaning of what you write above. But if you intend to build a plane which can be moved from the power output of the propellers alone, then I think you may be in for a disappointment. I would be very surprised (...)   Re: Adjustable 4 wheel steering

I have had luck with an air selection system. Utilizing the 1.25" cylinders for engaging the axles from one steering setup to the other. This takes a lot of room as you have to run both pinion shafts to each axle and have a cylinder there to engage (...) (25 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

I'm having a good, long look at these creatures. Here are some things i'm noticing. <set:8531 Pohatu> Pohatu has brown Throwbot parts, as well as tan.   Re: 8880 Super Car information

(...) Thanks, That looks really neat; is the 4-wheel steering and 4-wheel drive done by using two of those universal "swivel" axle joints per wheel and 3 differentials?   Re: Adjustable 4 wheel steering

  Re: Adjustable 4 wheel steering

Jennifer, Waffling is OK!! I do it all the time!! The reason it should be curved is so that as you adjust the control, the output (link "E") doesn't move. That's why its radius should be exactly the length from "C" to "E". I agree, a bush would give (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)

Some more thoughts on this - Perhaps Link "C" could be replaced by a bush instead of a 3 hole half beam? If so, there is much more scope for curved guides - perhaps the non-studded beams with a bend in the middle could be used, or even some flex (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
