(...) I tried something a bit unusual to this end with a some znap axles John Barnes sent me. It actually worked quite well, although the drive train took a wee bit of torque to turn - the new gear motors managed it with no difficulty at a gear (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.technic)
