I would say we might get 3-4 new 84xx sets. But this probably depends
on how many "Tech Play" models that appear.
I wouldn't say that the large number of Technic sets in other lines
necessarily indicate that we'll get fewer 84xx sets. Keep in mind that
the Star Wars Technic sets as well as the Robo Raiders are probably
marketed towards a different group of kids.
We normally get one 84xx medium large racing car like model with a V4 or
V6 and possibly a suspension (8444, 8437, 8428, 8445), so I'm guessing
that we'll have one in 2000 as well. I'm not too happy about these
vehicles, and find them a bit boring.
I'm hoping for some more flying vehicles, as these usually don't have
the wheels. I have all the large Technic wheels I need by now, so I
don't need any more.
