I may be stating the obvious here, because most other people that read these
posts have a much keener eye to detail than I do, but has anyone noticed that
the bases of the stands are actually buit from normal sloped lego pieces. It
appears that the supports are just 1x 16 bricks (or some other 1x- size). The
may even be technic beams, though I think you'd see the holes. I don't know.
If you look at the TIE, you can see studs, and if you look at the X-Wing, you
can almost see the holes that you'd find in technic beams. I'm guessing the
model is just built around the beams, or maybe attached by pins or something.
Any other ideas?
