For all fans of the Horngold...
I received in the mail today a promotional version of "Duel of the Fates", a
track from the Phantom Menace soundtrack. Once again Williams conducts the
London Symphony.
Front cover shows Darth Maul and Qui Gon dueling(1) in the desert (presumably
Tatooine), back cover shows Darth Maul lookin through binoculars in the desert
at evening.
Quote from Lucas on the back: "Once again, John Williams has exceeded my
expectations and produced a lavish, rich, moving and thrilling score. Every fan
of Star Wars - and of great music - is in his debt."
Gonna go home and listen in a few minutes while building :)
I'll post a review to lugnet.reviews later.
-Tom McD.
when replying, don't hum along with the spamcake.
(1) obligatory larritarian footnote(2)
(2) Darth Maul doesn't have/is not using the second light sabre blade.
