Hi Why are all you out there so excited about a very expensive giant model in all light gray? I mean light gray is one of 2 colors (besides white) which is not very resistent against ageing and daylight. And trying to find a dark closet to store (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Ok this is just so damn cool. Yes I know many will think this is way too expensive but it looks like it literally contains a collection's worth of gray. You are right but i kinda ran out of all my gray pieces making it so I have to get some more to make it more authentic and the turret i also want to improve upon make it a two floor ship and get rid of the bubble turret. Thanks to bricklink I was finally able to build my favorite Star Wars shio the Otana from the X-wing Alliance game. I'm surprised I am the first one to post this creation. Great Pics, Matt! My Shuttle is close in size and is pretty heavy, but yours, with it's thicker wings and reinforced features must weigh at least 30 percent more!Do you ever try to "swoosh" it? Made some minor adjustments to the big shuttle sculpture: -Scaled down vertical stabilizer (not very noticable) -Re-designed vertical stab-to-fuselage fairing -Added the rear twin laser cannon -Added front fuselage vents -Gave it some (...)
