If you REALLY need to sell your LEGOS, either sell them
on Ebay, Bricklink or AuctionBrick. I'd sell them as one
collection, and see if someone local to you wants to buy
them so you don't have to ship them.
1) You'll make the most money off of it
2) Mark won't feel slighted. I know would feel the
same way, especially since your Brickshelf folder
says "gunstar-copycat"
Most people don't want to buy other people's MOCs, unless
they are sold as a kit. And in that case, the person who's
had the most luck is Dan at Brickmania (www.brickmania.com),
who has since stopped.
Why does she want you to sell your indulgences? Isn't that
part of life? There are other ways to fund for a house without
selling everything you enjoy (my husband and I recently bought a
house in Southern California).
Just my 7 cents (after inflation).
