  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

'K, First off, The Space world (void) idea is good. I have found it easier of late to build space stuff than the castle stuff. (I don't know, my mind must be geared to the Ether or something) Writting fiction is easy. Getting the stuff in pics and (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

A bit on the name... (I believe) being the one who jokingly suggested it in the BrickLUG chat last week, I find it sort of silly. That's why I suggested it, just to be goofy :) Though it may work for you (depends on how most people feel) thinking of (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

My $0.02: Possible names: Future Worlds, Galactic Gateway, Celestial Universe, Castle World 3000 (for all you castle fanatics). :) Since there are "billions and billions" of other possible worlds it at least should be plural. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

(...) "Billions and Billions?" How about "Star Stuff," or maybe just the plain-Carl "Cosmos?" ;) Seriously, a one-word title might be best. At least it would be succinct! But if you have to pick two words, avoiding redundancy is probably best. But (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

(...) Just to pick a nit here: though it was on the original Enterprise, it was not on the ship during the original 5 year mission, which was the original series. Only after the mission/original series had ended and the ship underwent extensive (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

(...) I like the idea of linking this idea to its obvious predecessor -- Castle World. I can see that Space World needs to be made plural, as in Space Worlds. But beyond that I see no problem with it. I am sure that there is a wide variety of (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SPACEWORLD! (name is TEMPORARY!)

(...) Good point tim, Space World does seem a little limited. And Space Universe sounds cool and all but that is kind of redundant sounding to me. It's like saying Space twice. I like the one word idea but i wonder if that will be descriptive (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)
