First off, The Space world (void) idea is good. I have found it easier of late
to build space stuff than the castle stuff. (I don't know, my mind must be
geared to the Ether or something)
Writting fiction is easy. Getting the stuff in pics and on line is hard. I
envision a simple map of a universe and every site is a world. If people have
multiple worlds, then they get a galaxy chunk.
The map can be coded so that a mouse pointer can highlight a section of space,
then a click will lead to the world pertaining to one persons site. While all
site may be different based on who made it, they can have some continuity by
either being in the Space World main frame, or having some specific Space World
graphics to keep everyone happy and consistant.
The secret to a really sharp universe is an underlying uniformity in all the
sites in that universe.
It need not be background or anything so specific, but quality can be retained.
Have you thought of a logo? If not lemme take a whack at it. While the old ship
orbiting a planet is a great symbol, lego keeps changing their space logos
because thats what they do. We need something classic yet cool. (think how
Roddenberry changes logos for more modern versions of Star Trek.
All the technical stuff aside, I'm not proficient in HTML, so I'm no good
there, But I've got a million ideas.
What are you guys envisioning?

| (...) <snip> (...) <snip> I'm working on something using the old Space logo because it embodies, more than anything else, Space Lego. Sure, there were lots of different logos, Blacktron2, MTron, etc. But nothing sticks in my mind as much as the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jul-00, to lugnet.space)
