I'm working on something using the old Space logo because it embodies, more
than anything else, Space Lego. Sure, there were lots of different logos,
Blacktron2, MTron, etc. But nothing sticks in my mind as much as the
Classic/Futuron days when it seemed like there was one big Space Force with
only the mysterious Blacktrons to deal with.
If you look closely, the Star Trek "arrowhead" thing has been around since
the 60's. It was present on the original Enterprise, on the side of the main
hull just aft of the big communications dish. Later, it was adopted as the
official symbol of the UFP and made its way onto the uniforms, and it's
still present everywhere, AFAIK.
We'll let you guys know when we have a website Beta to show you. :^)
