The structural component I’m most happy about is the landing gear, which is

up by the front section... and the landing gear clicks in and out nicely with
the help of Technic shocks. I’ll post a pic of a structural mock-up later...
there wasn’t an easy way to partially dismantle the ship to show it directly.
I’ve included some builders notes to explain some features, but feel free to
ask more questions. I’m considering building other modules for it, but the
trouble is I can’t have them all attached at once.

It’s a very impressive (and innovative) ship, carrying an entirely satisfactory
number of fighters (though I can’t imagine life would be much fun for the
fighter pilots!).
To my eye, the new design isn’t as good as the old one. The new nose looks a bit
‘droopy’, although it does seem to be centred on the axis of the ship. It might
just be that it’s not symetrical (the slope is smooth underneath, but stepped on
the top).... it just doesn’t look ‘right’ to me.
