This is a good set of "good Style" ideas, but a Lego Purists would only
agree with one of your statements...

The rest, well....

We like the idea of damaging MEGA-blocks (always an excellent idea), but a
non-purist would have to do cutting, since we can't _physically_ touch
MEGA-blocks. The highest service a purist can do is the purchase of Lego!
In doing so the Lego is removed from the shelf where it was invariably
located close to... <choke> knock-offs.

That is seen as 5% impure.

Mega-blocks are allowed to be thrown into a up-turned vacuum cleaner on the
equinoxes of every year by a single chosen mini-fig. That mini-fig must
then jump into the same vacuum cleaner and thus end the close the circle of
cleansing.

Only Lego bands. A side note: there are two sub purist groups; one believes
that if TLG produced it then it is pure, the other regards only Lego meant
to be used in a set is pure. The difference would be in the use of say the
small black elastic/bunggee that is packaged with a 9v lead... pure or
un-pure? A brick separator as a street lamp... pure or un-pure?

No glue. It conceding to a building challenge.

| This is almost Ok with me! If you allow to mutillate Lego parts, this will be against the 1st statement. I think that a MB brick, multillated in order to build (or help to build) a Lego part will be released from the original sin of MB and converted (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Geeze... all this because I mentioned popsicle sticks and rubber bands??? Actually, I've never had occasion to use a popsicle stick in any model, I was just trying to make a point. I have used rubber bands, though... and I have used pens or pencils (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
