The SR isn't available in Minnesota... at least not at the three Home Depot's
and three Menards where I checked. A call to the Nibco distributer (and his call
to Nibco) had the following results. The C5806SR isn't a standard catalog
part but *is* in Nibco's computer system. This kind of puts the SR in the
special
order catagory with a minimum order or 125 each - and then only if you have an
appropriate company account to order through.
However, I did find a PVC version at a local hardware store. It turns out that
Genova ( 800-721-5488) offers a similar 'small radius 45 degree elbow' (part
number 70615 )
which can be ordered through the mail at 56 cents each plus $6.00 shipping.
They have many thousands of these in stock with no minimum order. :)
So this may be the best alternative for those of us without a Canadian Home
Depot nearby. Isn't there some universal pipe cement that joins ABS to PVC?
I seem to remember having a can of it some years back...
I'll post an image of this new find sometime this evening.
