(...) I guess no one is going to cheat, but if my bot just say it is done at 0 sec then my score would be 24 sec at worst. So the penalty time for wrong block need to increase - I suggest 6 sec. (right?) example: Time = time in seconds + 1 sec for not perfect block + 3 sec for "wrong" blocks. (these penalty times are based on what i figure (...) OK folks, since I don't have a robot competing, perhaps I'll throw out some suggestions: Some scoring rules I've heard bandied around are: First to finish: +20 or +50... Block wrong: -10 or disqualified Block mispositioned: -5 I'd observe that in (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Why wouldn't you be able to pressurize your air system before the event? I see nothing wrong with that. I just had a thought about the rules for rtl10 and pneumatics. Are you allowed to pre-charge your pneumatics before the start of a match? I would say yes you can manually, or mechanically, charge your pneumatics before the match. One could argue for (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Thanks for the pics! Are there any more pics of the sculpted areas of the layout. Can you give a description of the infrastructure you use to achieve the different levels. (...) Can we bump this up to 50? I want more priority on speed! As Daves example shows, this scoring scheme seems to favour accuracy more than speed.
