All right, what's the deal? Lar made a general call for forbearance on
The Abortion Debate (a good call, since no one is going to be swayed one way
or the other) and there have subsequently been more posts than before Lar's
request. Even I, who count myself as stubborn as any on this board (and who
helped kick the ball into play in the first place), agreed and agree that
the debate is better off dropped.
There have been some spin-off discussions re: rights and goverment, and
those are different matters. However, does anyone else agree that the
abortion issue is beyond resolution? It is apparent that we cannot even
come to terms on the fundamentals of the argument, let alone the details.
I once again second Larry's call to end this pointless (in that we will
never reach a consensus) debate.
