The most generous refutation I can make to these assertions of yours, Larry,
is to merely point out that assertions is all they amount to. I feel quite
sure that neither one of us is in possession of the necessary information to
do much better than make varying degrees of educated guesses about the
subject. You think there's no money in it, while I think there probably is
money in it. I think we may have to agree to disagree.
That doesn't change the fact that I never asked for your input to something I
posted to Lego Direct and addressed to Brad Justus, should he care to respond.
If he were to make the same arguments as yourself, I'd be interested in the
particulars (which I doubt he would provide). If that information is not
forthcoming, then I am not sure why you insist so vehemently that you must be
right and that I must be wrong -- or even why you want to discuss it absent
the needed information to have an informed debate on the subject.
If you wish to formulate your requests addressed to Brad such that you include
rigorously thought out cost v. benefit analysis, relevant demographic studies
of where the requested elements or sets would sell best, etc. Well, you go
right ahead and make your requests in that manner. I don't think you have the
information to make the request in that form.
So, step off...
Hugs and kisses,
-- Richard
