Re: Do you think there are too many Lego® groups on Flickr?

(...) A good question, CM Bob. There certainly seems to be a lot of them these days, some of which seem to have a narrow focus (there's even one called 'LEGO® Complaining'!). At the moment I cope with the huge number of LEGO groups by the simple (...) (15 years ago, 18-Feb-09, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - The Book of Job

(...) Hi! When looking into The Book of Job again (latest Swedish version from 2000) I noted that, as you correctly says, Yahweh created Behemoth, not defeated it. I have read somewhere that Behemoth is a Hippopotamus, which fits well to Yahweh's (...) (16 years ago, 25-Nov-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

(...) See, this is why people should never admit when they've made a mistake. And I will continue to ridicule the Myers-Briggs Test Instrument while there is breath in my lungs and blood in my veins, thank you very much. Dave! (16 years ago, 11-Nov-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Ahh infinity, how I love ye! Was Re: George Bush has legitimised terrorism

(...) Well, it's not as though I was thinking about it every day, but it was sort of bubbling on the back burner, along with a hundred other random things. Jon Palmer's post in ot.pun was another of them, but I already commented on that one a while (...) (16 years ago, 8-Nov-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: Ahh infinity, how I love ye! Was Re: George Bush has legitimised terrorism

(...) It takes you FIVE YEARS to admit you're wrong, Dave!? Or have you just been thinking about the example for that long? I don't believe that you had even procreated before this discussion. ROFL JOHN (16 years ago, 7-Nov-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: Ahh infinity, how I love ye! Was Re: George Bush has legitimised terrorism

(...) Okay, I've thought about it more. And I've decided that my example is 100% faulty. Even if such a theoretical perfect sphere could be said to exist in the real universe, there'd be no way for us to verify it, because we'd have no way to verify (...)   need an illustrator for MOC

About 20 months ago, just as the presidential campaign was beginning, my husband, an environmental science teacher, conjured up a story ... his first in decades.   Problems in the Chinese toy industry

As I couldn't find any better place to put this (and its about the toy business in general, not about clones), I'll post it here...   Re: Right place for questions about LUGNET configurations

(...) You might try LUGNET.ADMIN, which is where I've asked questions about my account in the past. Such as "why don't I get a dollar every time someone reads one of my posts?" Seriously, though--that's probably the best place to start asking. Dave! (16 years ago, 24-Oct-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Right place for questions about LUGNET configurations

Re: Looking for old Convention Programs

(...) This sounds way too complicated for a toy forum. I probably should just refrain from posting in the future to avoid more headaches. That sounds much easier. :^) (16 years ago, 18-Jun-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: Looking for old Convention Programs

My intent was as someone stated, a "cautionary tale" and a request for others to keep a lookout ... admittedly a desperate request because the person possessing the lost set could also read the post and remove the identifying sticker.   Re: 6030 MISB lost in Slovakia

(...) Actually, it is entered by the user. It's done in the posting setup. That's why everyone uses a different method. As for the OP, I can't really balme her for wanting that guy to get a bit of spam. Al. (16 years ago, 3-Jun-08, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: 6030 MISB lost in Slovakia

(...) I'm not sure if LUGNET does protect raw email addresses but they're certainly not all automatic. Mine is as I entered it with my own anti-spam system.   Re: 6030 MISB lost in Slovakia

(...) Agreed. (...) I'm not trying to take sides in this at all, but don't forget that when you see something like this: "From: "Anne Schubert" chomper95 @ NOSPAM juno.com" at the top of a legnet post, it is being put in automatically by legnet's (...)
