I think it's a good idea, but I probably wouldn't get in the queue for it.
Perhaps a 'bright' box, to go with the 'drab' box? It may be mostly blue at
the start, but it would be kinda neat to see how the color shifted(1) over
time.

That's a good idea. I know >I< have enough grey that I could happily swap
value for value, but most people probably don't.
Again, I could flesh out a drab box quite happily if it was a bit sparse to
start.
