Re: Weeks Box - round two (...no, really!) —Frank Filz
(...) I've got the box now, and by some miracle of scheduling, if I can arrange to meet Shiri while I'm back home for the holidays, we can effect an in person hand-off, and then I won't have to venture into the Post Office during the mad dash for (...)         Re: Weeks Box - round two (...no, really!) —Frank Filz
What I forgot to mention last night was that a couple things dissapointed me about the box: 1. Somewhere in the past few folks it went through a smokers house, and will have a new box when I send it along (hmm, Shiri, will this be a problem for you? (...)       (...) Hmm, I didn't notice this but I do remember it being rather dusty. And FYI no one at my house smokes.       (...) I'm pretty sensitive to smoke, so perhaps you just didn't notice it, in any case, the existing box is now in our recycle bin, I'll use a new one.          JJB#4 —David C. Pyatt

         Re: JJB#4 —Frank Filz
(...) Perhaps I missed it. Glad your son found stuff of use. When I collect enough junk for another box, I'll re-start JJB#3 and send it to the next person on the list. If I clean up the Weeks box some, I may actually be close to having enough stuff (...) (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

(...) I'm in New England from 12/22 to 12/31, so perhaps we can connect the 30th, which is the best day for me to connect anyway. If that won't work out, I'll just hold onto the box and mail it to you after New Years. (24 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Gad! I was supposed to update it a thousand years ago too. Well, maybe not a thousand, it just seems like it.         UPDATE: Re: Weeks Box - round two (...no, really!) —Frank Filz
The Weeks box has been passed on to Shiri. I switched out the box with one which didn't smell like a chimney. I also sort of organized some of the parts (though my contribution is in a separate bag). If you want to be surprised by the box, don't (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: UPDATE: Re: Weeks Box - round two (...no, really!) —Christopher L. Weeks
Well, I just go the box back yesterday and just looked through it today. I have to say that I am less than enthused. I think that the value of the box is similar to how it was before I dropped the RCX in. So basically, I think it lost about $50 (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jan-01, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
