Sorry to hear about your disillusionment with LEGO, Joel.  I thought you were

I hope you believe me when I say I am not disillusioned with Lego right now,
I love building more than ever!  That's why this is driving me nuts... half
of me wants to keep it and the other half wants to get rid of it.  Its half
a money issue, and half a sanity issue  :)

But if money is an issue, and you feel as if you *have* to sell, then I'd shy
away from a mass sale.  You'll get a pittance; you may as well just keep them.

yeah, I have realized that no one wants to pay what this collection is
worth.  Looks like I have to go to bricklink.  I really don't like Ebay...
have sold things before, and found very poor customer dealings there.

supplement your income nicely on them for
a long time.  And, if you had a change of heart over time, you wouldn't be
brickless yet;-)

I had a Transfomrer collection in the early to mid 90s that was nearing
completion, but I grew tired of it and began selling it off on one of my
webpages... I just sold the last chunk of it in December 2001.  I have
really gotten used to that extra income, so I guess bricklink is the only
remaining option.

thanks for your input!
Joel K

My advice would be to just box all of them up and store them-- out of sight, (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.appraisal)
