The Hobby Show in Toronto is just about 6 months away. This post is intended to gauge the level of interest that people have in putting on a booth at this year's show. As a reminder, the Can-Brick Builders attended last year's show (Nov 2003) and (...) Well, we had a record breaking turn-out for our May meeting. 14 people showed up, and that was without 2 regulars. We went around the circle to introduce ourselves and our favourite themes, so the new attendees were Deborah (architecture), Shirley (...) I am just going from my price list/catalog release dates. Sometimes the 'big guys' can get things around the same time as shop@home, but the smaller dealers for sure won't see it till July, same as the Falcon, and quite a few other sets as well. HP (...) Dealers are not getting the 7046 till July, so it's a semi shop@home exclusive for a few months of preview. A very common thing these days. Stopped at TRU on Merivale today. They have ALL the X-Pods now. A bin full. And they have a LOT of stuff on sale, between 30-45% off on sports, racers, some new creator & town stuff, and of course Jack Stone. The 45% was mainly the extra-large (...) I'm trying to find 7046 in the Vancouver Area. I've looked at TRU, Wal-Mart, Zellers, and none of them have the Fire Boat. Why is it that (acording to an official page at lego.com), Russia (of all places) is getting a Lego Store (in moscow) but countries with probobly a much greater market (e.g. Australia or Canada) arent? (20 years ago, 5-Apr-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.general)

I think there was a published list a ways back, I just couldn't find it. I know that Chicago-area got 2 stores, Boston got another one, Southern California (LA-area) got another store, NY City Metropolitan got 2 (1 in NJ - Paramus Park) and 1 Nyark) (...) I took a trip to PlayValue today and decided to write down all the clearance items, not including Bionicle and Duplo/Primo.
