For _less_ than 1500pts I have; An entirely scary sounding horde.

The worst bit is, I look at it and think is it enough? Should I get more guys?
I mean 100 minifigs isn't that many is it? There's plenty of room on the
shelf.

Of course if your ships are armed and valid targets they'd be a bit more
expensive than the usual troopy things.
1250 - 1550(ish) these little cogs were just ships, combat generally
consisted of moving the 'castles' close enough to each other to start
flinging arrows, rocks, rotten food, quicklime, chickens, bengal tigers -
whatever came to hand really.  Ships were seldom sunk by battle damage, they
were more often taken by boarders.

I assume they burn nicely though... <evil grin>

James (who must resist getting more $1.76 impulse sets)
I have been a bit out of the impulse sets loop.  I'm a bit crook today (read:
feeling too feeble to be bothered with going back and researching the answer
to my question, which as an otherwise good boy I normally would) - do the
impulse sets include anything in the way of the new soldiers (with the chapeau
de feu)?  And this is a BigW thing, right?

BigW yes. Just the small space plane thingy and the ninja guys, no defence
archers or knight's kingdom guys.
BigW Macquaire now has two of the smallest race sets, the small blue and small
red race cars. Odd.
OTOH GB's have marked down the ninja impulse and so too have Targé.

Richard
Barely baldly going at all...

Hope you're soon back to minifg smiley self.

James (who earnt heaps of brick money lately, wish there were good sets out)
