I have been endeavouring to remove all traces of irony, sarcasm, mockery,
quibbling and argument from my posts of late. Many of my proposed posts have

I must say though, that the lack of postings does make the compilation of
statistics easier... even if it does make the statistics less useful.

I have a bias against modern day. Not enough valiant cavalry charges for my
taste.
But this wouldn't stop me fielding a formidable army!

One would normally suggest Lego, but probably not in this case. He is partial to
Guiness IIRC.

Absolutely! And you can make servicable headgear from tyres. I'm happy to lend
troops, too.

Not so enthusiastic about this one.... but there are possibilities.
