(owner of an overpriced used 6989)

AUD$115 for a used 6989 in good condition (with box) is a bargain - if you don't
want it I'd be happy to take it off your hands for that price plus whatever
postage you paid. Or do you expect me to buy all the various bits of it off
Technic Wreckers? Now THAT would be overpriced... :-)

Somehow, I don't think the path to fame and fortune, or at least fortune, is by
parting one of these out.

Recent completed ebay auctions (none of mine):-
5936137036 - US$ 46
5937424715 - US$ 53
5938523694 - US$ 24.50
5940014607 - US$ 59.99 (incl 2 smaller sets)

BL prices seem to range from US$ 60 (used) to US$ 140ish (MISB).

Funnily enough 'NEW' seems to cover varied histories, some people see unplayed
with as 'in new condition'.
'SEALED' is a bit more straightforward, one would hope. Sealed by who...?
