LEGO... are you out there? Do you care? (WAS: WHY SO LONG ON BULK BRICKS?)

(...) That also came up in Brickfest Q&A. Sales of Guarded Inn exploded as soon as marketing assets reached general public beyond LUGNET. You know, I realized last week that not even Larry (who was typing to IRC) compiled a report on all that. We (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Fair enough. (...) Just curious... did that questionaire ever show up on LEGO.com or even LUGNET? (...) Yes, that was exactly my point. LUGNET does not represent the whole of the LEGO buying community... only a small percentage who are 'in the loop'. (...) Does this mean that you'd put faith in a vote on the LEGO.com site representing the LEGO buying public in general? Interesting. Cheers Richie Dulin (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

What's the good number for S@H now?

I called 1-800-835-4386 to place an order and got re-directed to 1-800-453-4652 and couldn't order any of the items I wanted (which show up on the web site as available).
