Jeeeeesse I wasn't going to even include Bionicles in my Lego document, but now
it looks like I cannot avoid it :-)

:) Here's another reason not to avoid Bionicle... LEGO did a lot of work to
create a "collectible" mentality for this product line. They started with the
Kanohi masks, about 130-ish different ones total, including some rare ones like
the European "misprints" (misnomer), some promotional masks, and 30 of the solid
gold Hau masks like the one I sold. There's a much more valuable one-of-a-kind
Platinum Avohkii "Mask of Light" that somebody won, too.

After Kanohi, LEGO released Krana "power brains" as collectibles, evil little
rubber masks. There were about 216 of those, I believe (give or take, I don't
keep track).

Then there were Kraata, which I like to call "power slugs". Eww. But the kids
loved 'em.

And now the current collectible is a "Kanoka" disk - which uses the same design
as the Throwbot disks. They have different numbers and designs on them.

So, my suggestion for any project about LEGO collectibility should include at
least a short description of Bionicle collectibles. You can find more info by
searching the news and forum archives at BZPower.com[1].
