  Re: Feedback thoughts?

Thanks for bringing this issue up. I wanted to say something about this a thousand times ago. I guess my reasons are a little selfish although honestly I wish it was a little better. First off let me say this, I appreciate the feedback I get. It (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.general) !!

  Re: Feedback thoughts?

(...) What's wrong with sharing information? Personally, I haven't commented on your MOCs because while I do like looking at the occasional mecha, I just don't find them that interesting. (...) There used to be a common internet acronym, TIA. Thanks (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Feedback thoughts?

<snip> (...) <snip> A biiiig post so I'll just comment on this bit. The "saying thanks" bit is a good way for those who don't get much feedback to get more. Think of a real conversation. If I say "Look at this" and you say "That's great" then the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Go Out & Vote (Re: Feedback thoughts?)

(...) Unfortunately it's a rather unfair vote. My choice isn't there. This is an incredibly inbalanced poll which is aimed to achieve the result that .debate should be removed. There is no opportunity to really voice support for it. Frank (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Go Out & Vote (Re: Feedback thoughts?)

(...) This is like me putting up a ballot: "Should Galidor be eliminated as a newsgroup on LUGNET because I don't like Galidor?" If someone doesn't like ot-d, don't read ot-d. I can't put it any simpler. I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, I don't (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Feedback thoughts?

(...) I dunno. I sure hope that people have enough of their own steam to keep doing what they love without demanding positive feedback. But I guess if it's not rewarding enough to put your creations online because you don't get scads of feedback, (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Feedback thoughts?

WHEW! This topic of feedback has grown so big and deep that I figure I might as well go into the pre-LUGNET, pre-RTL, pre-online world that many of us AFOL's lived in. Here's the Q. Did you get feedback 10, 15, 20 yrs or more ago from your MOC's? A (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)

Dinner is almost ready, I just wanted to chime in and say I respect your differences in opinion.
