I am among those who stated they are not into Mecha. But I hope you don't
take it personally. I only pointed out my lack of interest in the sub-genre
here in this thread because it had been used as an example of something to
post replies for MOCs to. There are several other groups, styles, and
sub-themes that I feel the same way about. However, my feeling on all of
them, including Mecha, is one of neutrality. I don't dislike Mecha. And I
am the first to admit, they would be beyond my current skill to build. But
they just don't interest me enough for me to feel qualified saying much
about them, beyond that it is cool that you can build them with Lego (which
is a blanket comment that could be directed at any MOC in .mecha).
I agree with you that *if someone has time* then they should look around at
MOCs of any genre. But if they are looking at something they feel neutral
about, I just don't think we can expect them to post replies to it all.

My point exactly. :)
Still, as you said, none of these differences in interest are reason for us
to be unfriendly. And I feel that this is still the best online place to
hang out regardless of our disagreements in this thread. 8-)

| Dinner is almost ready, I just wanted to chime in and say I respect your differences in opinion. Of course my thoughts simply reflect a perfect world that I would like to live in and we all are human. So, with that I will say thank you for posting (...)
