If you ask me (and you didn't), I think the whole "no face" head thing adds
up to one thing. They are clones! They have no personality or thought of
their own. They are pawns of the Emperor, and I believe (PREDICTION) that
the Royal Guards will sport unprinted black heads visible through the red
helmet (ala Biker Scout). The reason the Scouts had "faces" (if you could
call them that) is that they would be operating further from the Emperor's
influence and had to make some moves independant of his will.
If LEGO continues this line of color, I feel confidant that we may see many
"humans" and aliens with proper head coloring.
