There are a number of places where some set-to-part cross-references are
posted. None are complete.
So, instead of duplicating information that was already out there, Partsref
provides links to known locations for the information. If you look at the
detail pages (like <http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/brick/>), you'll see
links to Peeron.com, Technica, Vattima, and Jessiman. These are direct
links to pages with more information about the specific part. All of them
have some information about what sets that part appeared in.
BTW: thanks to Dan and Jennifer Boger, Jim Hughes, and Todd Lehman for
permission to link to their parts-reference sites. And thanks to James'
family, for allowing ldraw.org to rehost James' site, which includes his
extensive parts-reference.

Hmm. That would eliminate some clicks, but would really explode the
information included with each part. I'll have to think about this
approach some more.
