You forgot to cross-post to lugnet.off-topic.pun. :)

Good to see Larry got the cross-posting right...

I spent some time with it, and while i think it's really neat, I miss the
old interface, is it still around??? What I like is the ability to see vast
swaths of parts all at once, only one category click in. The current one is
TOO compartmentalized (did I just say that?)

Umm, I'm confused -- the detail pages are essentially the same.  Sure,
they've got the new LUGNET-ish headers and footers, and now the 73 LDraw
categories are arranged into a 2-level grouping.  But the *contents* of
detail pages are the same.
Compare <http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/brick/>
and     <http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/brick.html>

Contentwise, the only difference is that the links to patterned elements is
now reduced to a subitem of the undecorated part.

BTW: did you look at <http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/category/>?  That's
got the complete list of all the categories on a single page.

Multiple views might be a good way to go.

Maybe.  Instead of ditching the frames-view entirely, maybe it could have
been demoted to non-default.

Steve
