Maybe I'm wrong about this, I'm a little confused as to what you are calling
old, continuing or new farm theme? I was thinking that the old farm theme,
were the older style "squareish" animals, is this correct?
Then the new farm theme, was any animal in the more rounded style? (ala, my
comment about the "new" farm sheep) If this is so, then what is
the "continuing" farm theme, you have listed?

I put in the "old theme", the square animals, and to my judgement, the white
sheep is squarish. This coincided with an old dacta set that I obtained about
a year ago with farm animals, which included the old squarish animals.

Is the old sheep the same as the new? I actually don't have any sheep. (I am
waiting for 3 to arrive) But in the picture of set 2655, they look "squarer"
than the newer sheep at least in the photo. Do you have both types?

The hens were included both in the old and the new themes. I think this
problem would be solved when we have pictures of all the animals. I do
not own a digital camera, so obtainig this pictures is not easy.

Neither do I unfortunatly

What I am calling pink and you are calling light brown in the pigs, seems to
be just a difference in our individual perceptions perhaps??

I agree. We are just naming things differently.

Maybe this calls for an official decision as to the naming of the colors, to
make it more universal.

...

But just for clarification,  would the grey pig you are
referring to - be the grey of the elephants in the set I mentioned, if so • then
what set do these pigs come in?

There are NO grey pigs. It was a typo which persisted.

(so I can get some) If the brown pigs you
mentioned are a different color to what I am calling the pink pigs in set • 2699
what set do they come in (so I can get some of these too, as I only have a • pig
in one color)

The ptyradactyl comes in red and yellow, too lazy to find the set numbers, • let
me know if you need them.

Sure. I have never seen those.

I did a search on etoys and the set numbers that the new dino colors are in
are 2821, and 2803. This shows the red ptyradactyl adult and baby. The yellow
comes in the sets2806 and 2604.

The color of the cowboy horse is light brown, (or should we say • orange/brown?)
same color as the brown horse in the set2697 that I mentioned above. The
cowboy horse has a mid brown saddle (lighter than the dark brown horse in set
no 2699.

The color of the Indian horse is white with orange/brown patches, the
paintings are bright green sun design, and yello and blue pawprints • (bear????)
these patterns are reflected on both sides of the horse.

Thanks, I am updating the list.

The lion colors I am also confused about, you have light brown and orange
lions listed, now the lions I have here in front of me, are neither of these
colors. They are an orangey color, but they are a couple of shades darker • than
the orange Dinosaur, and a lot more orangy than the light brown horses.so we
should rename this color, so as to avoid mixing the two colors up. I only • have
one color in the lions, and have never seen two, where does the other color
come from?

The lions are here gazing at me. There are definitely two different colors,
which could be called anything from yellow, light brown to orange. The darker
variety (which may be called light brown orange) has the whole family in it:
lion, lioness and a cub. In the lighter color, which may be called yellow
orange light brown has only the lioness and the cub (at least in my
collection)

Could you give me set numbers for the two colors, please?
Are either of these colors the same as the orange in the dinosaur, or the
orange brown of the light brown horse?
(just trying to pinpoint the exact shade. only way of doing it is to find
another animal, the same color. Or at least having the set numbers, so I can
track some down myself)

. Are there any new animals, does anyone know?????

No new animals according to the catalog I saw.

Please, please, please, let me know where I can see the new duplo sets, they
must've been released in the US by now???? (Im in Australia, we wont see ANY
of the 2000 line up till MARCH!!!!!) Surely it should be ok to ask for
pictures_by now?
There has been no discussion here about the new Duplo sets, that I have seen,
other than my earlier comments about the new train and toolo sets. These,
however are the only new sets that I have been able to feast my eyes on. Where
do I go to have a look at them, can anyone help!!!!!!! (the suspense is
killing me!)
