I don’t know why you would assign an arbitrary and incorrect timeline to events which you did not personally witness.

Enter LEGO Retail, ask sales associate which current Technic sets include “classic studded Technic beams.”
Clerk seems confused, shows me to the Technic display with nary a classic studded beam in sight.
Try to make the best of my trip, fill a few PaB cups with brick, see an interesting Creator set, ready to cash out.
Different sales associate points out last remaining copy of Technic set, which contains a healthy number of 14-stud and 16-stud beams, but I was looking for 6’s and 8’s for the project I was working on.
Interesting set, but not what I was looking for at the time. Make purchasing decision to stick with what I had already found.

Thanks for the timeline. I’d assumed that the events you’d included in your post occured in the order that you’d given them and didn’t allow for full sequence of events.

But honestly, Richie, for someone who is a LEGO Ambassador, the tone of your comments surprises me.

The tone?

I repeated two comments you’d made, questioning them (and, as I mentioned above, thanks for clarifying the events), and thanked you for sharing.

I’m not seeing a point in this being quoted here.

Perhaps you might consider increasing your community efforts and trying again?

My post summarised your post. It was no more off-topic than yours.

Just because someone doesn’t agree with you - or just because you have the perception that someone disagrees with you - doesn’t mean it’s off topic. You seem very quick to FUT o-t.debate. Please consider what is and is not off-topic.

Chris, not everyone will agree with you when you post. Particularly when you complain. You need to internalise that, and move on.
