  Re: The NEW Castle World!

Although I am not an especially prominent member on Lugnet, I would like to state that a new Castle World would be something I would full-heartedly support! Whatever may come of this discussion, I would be willing to help the new site in any way I (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

Do you object to maintaining the archive as a completely separate link from the new site? If yes, why should it disappear? Just because people are now long absent, doesn't mean that their existing contributions aren't worth preserving in some way. I (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

(...) I have no problem with the idea of keeping the old website in tact, but all it is at the moment is a museum for the days gone by anyway. (...) I mean no disrespect, and I'm sure that Craig is a great artist, but so what? IOM never revealed (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  The NEW Castle World!

I declare this subject now open to discussion. Please post all of your thoughts on the subject here in this newsgroup. Noise or not, this is our home. Nothing is sacred, everything is permitted. I propose: 1. That we maintain the former Castle World (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

Re: CastleWorld Website (was re: CBG)

(...) I only want to preserve the existing CW as an archive, that's all. (...) No compromise is necessary, we could start from scratch. It could be totally revamped -- a NEW Castle World. (...) Yeah, I have to agree. (...) Two problems here: a) we (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

A happy Medium resolution to Castle World.

<Snippage> Anthony Sava's original message to Richard Marchetti: (...) I don't find it too bad. The overall site navigation is fine. The initial welcome screen looks flat and slightly boring. The artwork is fine, though. The real problem, I find, is (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  CastleWorld Website (was re: CBG)

Richard, First let me say that I'm glad you stepped into the CW admin role when you did, and am glad the site has been preserved. But I don't think we need to respect the wishes of people who haven't been apart of the community for 1 year +. Nothing (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Castle World @ BrickFest

Sadly, it has been a long time since I last posted to the castle.org.cw group. And most of you probably wouldn't know that I am a LEGO Castle fan and builder unless you went to BrickFest 2000. 2000 (URL) year BrickFest dedicates a room to the Castle (...)   Re: What would you like to see come next?

Hi Anthony, I agree with Lenny. I think it would cool to have short stories about lesser supporting characters and/or unknown adventures of the main characters. I don't have any ideas right now (now I have to go read your stories again for ideas). (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: What would you like to see come next?

(...) But there are just so many different types of cheese! What I would like to see is short stories. What I've found about your story is that so many characters have so much background.. and this is a fertile place for short stories. Pick (...)   What would you like to see come next?

Since this discussion involves my website, it has something to do with LEGO and .castle, but since it really doesn't at the same time, I've FUT castle world (because it used to, and I suppose still does, stand for the sharing of the fantasy castle (...)   Re: Isle of Mist, let's try again!

(...) I would like to see the IOM restarted myself, but I don't want it to overshadow or compete with CQ. I don't see why both couldn't happen though.
