I dremeled the tab away using a small coarse sanding drum. Worked fine, though the ABS is so hard, it took a while. I've gone the X-acto route and I'd say the ABS is too hard to hand-cut the piece safely, unless you use a vise. binky "Bruce (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

The UFO armor pads also appear in many Insectoids sets. It's been seen in two colors: Black and Dark Grey. The black version appears to have made more appearances and is available in many smaller sets. Don't destroy those wonderful UFO figs though. (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

I saw the sets near the Lego aisle. Although they have sold out VERY quickly. Chances are that your Meijer store may have had them and sold them already.
