Hi everybody - A few of you are curious about the new default file format the latest version of MLCad uses, .LDR. I will attempt to explain this to eliminate any confusion. [FUT lugnet.cad] The LDraw.org parts update 2001-02 is now available! This is the second parts update using the new Parts Tracker, and it seems to be working well. I've shut down the Parts Tracker for awhile. You can still look at the data, and get files, but no one can submit parts or post reviews. This part is made of crumbs. Numerous crumbs created by stl2dat. The 2 errors I have found are on the foot. the opposite quad of this quad 4 16 -18.58 16 -92.6 -18.58 12 -92.6 -17.45 12 -90.2 -17.45 16 -90.2 is absent. there is a small gap between (...) (...) One way to get around the publishing emails problem is to provide a link against each vote / comment, which brings up a screen with a message field. When you submit the form, it sends email to the chosen reviewer, with subject "re: LDraw parts (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Ok I built it and it works. I guess my notes in makefile.linux were incoherent. To build for Mesa versions older than 4.0 you only need to comment out the OFFSCREEN_LIBS line. (...) To expand a little on Dan's reply... The updates to Partsref and Peeron don't happen automatically. They are separate processes, and both require work from the people involved. [ FUT lugnet.cad.dev ] (...) [...] (...) I ran into some problems with windowless rendering (on Linux/IA32 and Linux/Alpha). Apparently you have to upgrade to Mesa 4.0 to get access to this feature. Hello, I would like to see a 'Comment' entry feature in the part tracker, so you can do comments and questions without voting or resetting the votes. That would be very important.
