To expand a little on Dan's reply...
The updates to Partsref and Peeron don't happen automatically. They are
separate processes, and both require work from the people involved. So they
can take a few days (or so...)
Also, 2001-01 was the first parts update in a long time. I don't remember
how Dan and Jennifer updated Peeron in the past, or if they even needed to.
Searching Lugnet, I see that Dan mentioned in Oct-2000 that they'd be
willing to accept inventories from other people. That announcement is more
recent than the 2000-02 parts update. So before 2001-01 there was never
really a parts update that affected Peeron.
