Well...ya know, you've pretty much got all the time in the world to choose
the site's title -- compared to registering the domain and coming up with a
Registrant name. One consideration is: does www.ldraw.org or ldraw.org
make much sense as a Registrant name? Here are a few examples of Registrant
names...some make sense and some are confusing:
baylug.org Bay Area LEGO Users Group (BAYLUG-DOM)
gimp.org Complete Internet Solutions, Inc. (GIMP5-DOM)
gmltc.org GERLACH, JOHN (GMLTC-DOM)
lego.org LeGo management (LEGO6-DOM)
lugnet.org LUGNET (LUGNET2-DOM)
mozilla.org Mozilla Dot Org (MOZILLA2-DOM)
opencontent.org OpenContent (OPENCONTENT-DOM)
opensource.org Software in the Public Interest (OPENSOURCE3-DOM)
peta.org People Eating Tasty Animals (PETA-DOM)
povray.org [No name] (POVRAY-HST)
perl.org Stonehenge Consulting Services (PERL2-DOM)
pnltc.org Pacific Northwest LEGO Train Club (PNLTC-DOM)
python.org Python Software Association (PYTHON2-DOM)
So...what you may probably should be wanting to decide now is how you want
ldraw.org to look when someone does an InterNIC 'whois' lookup. The site
name, on the other hand, can always be decided later, and changed on a whim
if necessary.
Just my $0.02.
