No, LDraw is not on its death bed. Things are going on in the background -
although with less vigour than I would wish since Christmas, due to an overload
of other commitments.
Most of the conversion work on the existing official library is done, but some
late requirements came to light, and I really want to incorporate those to
improve consistency and ease of maintenance of the library in the future. It is
not really about the "six parts" any more - these and others with significant
work done by authors who have not affirmed the Contributor Agreement, will be
put into a separate non-distributable download.
My other workload should lighten up after next week and I will get this back on
track. Once the restructured library has been issued, I'm hopeful that updates
can follow on a regular basis.
