Re: LSynth 3 available on kclague.net

  NXT based 3D scanner

(URL) As a LDraw parts author, I am always interested to find new ways to model LEGO parts.   Re: Orientation of parts in PLI using LPub 4.x

I figured it out and using the old ORIENTATION file from and old LPub version. The strange thing is that the 2x4 plates display rotated, but the 2x6 does not. It is in the same file and orientated the same like the 2x4 plates. Clearing the (...) (16 years ago, 13-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

Orientation of parts in PLI using LPub 4.x  [DAT]

Hi all, Though I have put the Techinc plates 2x4, 2x6 and 2x8 with holes in the pli.mpd file that comes with LPub4.x and rotated them so the the holes are visible in the PLI, they just show up normal. How to accomplish this? I've added thes lines: 1 (...) (16 years ago, 13-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Printing LPub instructions with Lulu.com

Lulu offers a few differing binding options (stapled, plastic coil, paperback-like "perfect" binding, etc.), but stapled is the only option available for a minimal number of pages (22, in this case).   Re: Printing LPub instructions with Lulu.com

(...) Very cool--I love it! To be honest, it would never have occurred to me to use Lulu; I got as far as "I should try Kinkos," and that's where I sort of stalled.   Re: L3PAO 1.9 Beta

It's a computer representation of the piece, it's not meant to show how it's actually constructed. -Stefan- (16 years ago, 7-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Hollow axles actually not that hollow...

LDraw parts are just a bunch of triangles, quads, and lines. There's no such concept as "solid". --Travis (16 years ago, 6-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Hollow axles actually not that hollow...

Looking through various LDraw files I've noticed that the axles that connect for example beams into ball joints are modelled hollow, like axle holes closed on all sides. However, I've broken various pieces over my years, this one being broken quite (...) (16 years ago, 6-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LSynth 3 available on kclague.net

Re: LSynth 3 available on kclague.net

(...) I'd like the LDrawIni.c code and executable very much. I'll cut a new release once I've got the parts install stuff working. I think the LSynth parts should go in unofficial. Anyone object? Kevin (16 years ago, 5-Mar-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LSynth 3 available on kclague.net
