Ok, I just finished watching the Giant Robot Week on Toonami. I will say that Dai Guard was really cool, and I saw my first Evangelion so all in all it was good. Wha-wha-what!!! That is against the rules! What the hell are they thinking? I figured that the shows were longer then 5 episodes, but running the second to last show is just not right man. I just came across this new release giant robot title yesterday. It was orginally produced in 2000 and now th first DVD has hit the shelves in the US February 4th. This amazing mech work was done by Keith Goldman. I had a chance to hang out and talk with him Saturday and Sunday. He's nice and pretty humble about the stuff he builds. sorry, big guy, but i scrapped the project. it's not because i got discouraged after seeing your mecha, but rather, i got as far as the lower leg and it just turned out crappy. nonetheless, i thought i'd delve a little into the "chicken walker" (...) That is sweet! it has an awesome mech-monster feel to it, like a rabid dog with it's two front legs cut off! The rocket pack on the back is very nice. This is awesome! There are so many things here that are out of the ordinary, and I like that alot. The arms and legs are beautiful! smooth, angular, and the color balance in each is near perfect. (...) Not quite. There are two mech sets in the make 'n' create line. One will allow you to build 3 minimecha in 3 different colors. The other will allow you to build one large mech. The mecha sets are pretty cool, there are going to be two I think. (different colors) But what is notable about the sets is that they will allow you to build say, four small mechs, two medium sized mechs, or one really big mech. There may or may not (...)
